Hale's Class -- Working on Favorite Place (Day 3)
Student verified that their transportation pic and URL is working and saved to their favpla doc. Students saved their transportation picture to their home dir. Demo'ed PhotoStory3:  importing pics, removing black borders, recording naration and saving project.
  • Next Time:  Several students need to add transportation and/or fav place pic or fix URL's of transportation.  See note regarding students needed special assisstance.  Students will open saved PhotoStory favpla file and review recording and previewing.  Demo adding music and finishing movie. 
Hoffert's Class -- Working on Favorite Place (Day 3)
Reminded students about procedures used to record using microphone. Students printed scripts as needed for PhotoStory voice-over.  Most students used microphones to record narration. Some students worked complete required project components (pic files of fav place and transportation, finished fav place script saved as favpla 2 hof, favpla word doc with URL of fav place and transportation and pics of fav place and transportation).  A few students added music, worked on music and slide transitions (FYI... these students did this through knowledge learned from previous 4th grade PhotoStory projects. These students were encouraged to help others to add these extra elements).
  • Next Time:  Students will need to finish recording. Review and/or demo adding music, changing movement and adding transition.  Review and/or demo saving project as well as movie file

  • Next Time:  Students create a PowerPoint about their favorite book??? characters, connection, genre, what is was about, setting, author
