Roberts' Class --  Jazz Project Creation
NOTE:  Worked with students who will be using Photo Story to present their jazz musician in both Roberts and Monroe.  Students continued to create their scripts using the tool of their choice and saved their script to their jazz folder in their home directory. Students decided which part of the script they could use clip art and found pictures online for the other parts of their script.  Students started creating their bibliography and saving their pictures in their jazz folder in their home directory.

Veeder's Class -- Choice Topic and Virtual Lab "Here Today Gone Tomorrow"(Finishing for some)

Students, who were finished with their "Here Today Gone Tomorrow" virtual lab, chose a topic they wanted to learn more about.  Students wrote about what they already knew about their topic and what they wanted to know.  Students began looking for image and video resources on Discovery Education.  Students saved the resources that supported their topic to the Disc Ed favorites.   Reviewed Pond-er This virtual lab.  Students completed virtual labs to determine whether or not they proved or disproved their hypothesis.

Students used a photograph of their jazz musician and an online magazine cover creator, Big Huge Lab Magazine Cover, to create a magazine cover about their jazz musician.  Students located a photograph of their jazz musician online and saved this picture to a jazz folder in their home directory.  Students reviewed the information in their graphic organizer and choose at least 5 supporting details (reasons that represented why the jazz musician was important).  Students accessed magazine cover creator. Students uploaded their jazz musician pics and added their supporting details.  Students printed their finished magazine covers.
