Faulhaber's Class --  Spring Break Voicethread (Final Day -- Showcase)

Share finished Spring Break VoiceThread. Demo'ed how to share link to Voicethread with others.

Monroe's Class --  Internet Safety with NetSafe (Day 1) Students created word doc with header for responses to videos.  Students wrote a respond after each video with information related to videos watched:  Cyberbullies are no fun! and What is Personal Information?  Saved word doc as netsafe mon + initials.

• Next Time:  Watch remaining videos: Understanding Online "Friends", Talk to an Adult You Trust, and Posting Pictures Online. Add responses to netsafe word doc and print. 

Nixon's Class -- Keyboarding and Internet Safety (Digital Passport -- Evolve)

Students accessed Dance Mat Typing folders in Edmodo.  Students launched  Dancemat Typing website.  Students continued to develop keyboarding skills while using Dancemat Typing.Students learned more about protecting themselves online while on Digital Passport -- Evolve (Students make choices about what to do if they or their friends are cyberbullied. They are encouraged to "evolve" into an “Upstander” – someone who takes action to stop cyberbullying, rather than standing by.)

• Next Time:  Students will continue to practice keyboarding while using Dancemat Typing. Digital Passport -- Search Shark (Students learn how to choose effective keywords for searching online. They practice selecting keywords that are most relevant to a search prompt. Along the way, students discover hints for narrowing their search results.)
