C/2 -- Thursday, December 12, 2013

Monroe's Class --  McDonald's vs Burger King (Day 4)
Students finished creating stacked bar graph for each restaurant, as needed.  Students turned in their finished McDonalds vs Burger King spreadsheet files into their Edmodo assignment.  Students reflected on what they had learned through the McDonald's vs Burger King lessons.  Students wrote their reflection in Word and save their doc to their home directory.
  • Next Time:  Students will finish McDvsBK spreadsheet and reflections and turn these in through Edmodo.  Students who complete this assignment may create a holiday card using MS Publisher or work on the hour of code.
Hale's Class --  Edmodo and Food Bank Research
Reviewed how to access Edmodo Food Bank Assignment and complete assignment.  Reviewed how to turn in an Edmodo assignment.  Students worked on Food Bank Assignment and turned in completed assignment via Edmodo.  If students had successfully turned in a completed assignment, they worked on their NC county project or the hour of code.

  • Next Time:  Finish Food Bank Research??? or Finish NC County Project.
Reynolds' Class --Adding Avatar to Edmodo and Hour of Code
Students added their avatars to their Edmodo profiles.  Students learned how to access and use the resources on the hour of code.  Students accessed and worked to complete their hour of code while using The Maze #1.
  • Next Time:  Students will review how to access the hour of code and try The Maze #1 again.
