B/1 -- Wednesday, December 11, 2013

Hilgers' Class --  McDonald's vs Burger King (Day 3)
Students finished creating stacked bar graph for each restaurant, as needed. Students learned how to move their charts/graphs to Sheet 1 with their data.  Students learned how to adjust their axis so that the data for each restaurant could be compared.  Both their maxium and their major unit were adjusted to fixed. 
Students reflected on what they had learned through the McDonald's vs Burger King lessons.
  • Next Time:  Continue to work on McDonald's vs Burger King Graphing. Students will learn how to add files and links to their backpacks.  Students will learn how to turn in Edmodo assignments.
Fauhaber's Class --  Edmodo and Food Bank Research
Reviewed how to access Edmodo Food Bank Assignment and complete assignment.  Reviewed how to turn in an Edmodo assignment.  Students worked on Food Bank Assignment and turned in completed assignment via Edmodo.  If students had successfully turned in a completed assignment, they worked on their NC county project or the hour of code.

  • Next Time:  Finish Food Bank Research??? or Finish NC County Project.
Blackwood's Class --Hour of Code
Students learned how to access and use the resources on the hour of code.  Students accessed and worked to complete their hour of code while using The Maze #1.
