Shannon's Class -- Twalkers

Students learn how cell phones can be a dangerous distraction and a hindrance while using Twalkers on Digital Passport.  Students complete 2 quizes (Digital Passport Assessment and Twalkers).  

• Next Time: Students will create a picture of things that they love while using Powerpoint, Wordle or Paint.  Picture will be used in a Voicethread.

Hilgers' Class -- Info Text PowerPoint (Day 4) and Being an Upstander

Students used Mrs. Hilgers' powerpoint template (volcanoes) as a guide to create their individual powerpoint. Students learn to customize their PowerPoint and save their PowerPoint as jpegs.  Students learned to upload their saved jpegs to Voicethread.  Students uploaded and added fav paragraph comment to Voicethread. Finished Info Text PowerPoint.  Students logged into Digital Passport and used E-volve to learn how to protect their selves and others from cyberbullies.

• Next Time: Students will learn to access and use voki.com to create talking avatars.  

Nixon's Class -- Learning about online privacy
Students did Ice Breaker part of the Space Jumper Lesson.  Students accessed the Digital Passport using their Edmodo library.  Most students earned Space Jumper badge in Digital Passport.

• Next time:  Students will learn about what to do when they encounter cyber bullies online while using E-Volve on Digital Passport.
