Students tried solving the magic square (all rows, columns and diagonals with the sum of 15) Students learned create the magic square while using formulas in Excel. Students saved magic square as magsq teacher initials.
- Next Time: Choose a Brod Bagert poem to create a presentation. Students create a picture(s) using paint or PowerPoint. Pictures will be uploaded to create a Voicethread and students will perform the poem.
Students researched their specific jazz musician in the following order:
- America the Beautiful (NC Wise>Grolier>America the Beautiful
- Britannica Online (Elementary, Middle or High School -- as needed based on musician)
- Portaportal Jazz Sites
- Next Time: Jazz Research
Students accessed Dance Mat Typing folders in Edmodo. Students launched Dancemat Typing website. Students continued to develop keyboarding skills while using Dancemat Typing.
- Next Time: Students will continue to practice keyboarding while using Dancemat Typing.
