Students paired up and read Brod Bagert poems to each other. Students choose a Brod Bagert poem to create a presentation. Students started creating a picture(s) using paint or PowerPoint.
- Next Time: Finish pictures (paint or slideshow) and save as jpegs. Pictures will be uploaded to create a Voicethread and students will perform the poem.
Students researched their specific jazz musician in the following order:
- America the Beautiful (NC Wise>Grolier>America the Beautiful
- Britannica Online (Elementary, Middle or High School -- as needed based on musician)
- Portaportal Jazz Sites
- Next Time: Jazz Research
Students will learn to access and use Digital Passport to learn about privacy online. Students used "Share Jumpers."
- Next Time: Students will learn about cyber bullying while on Digital Passport.
- Next Time: Students will continue to practice keyboarding while using Dancemat Typing.
