Faulhaber's Class -- Finishing Tech2012 Letters for Ms. Reid and Starting Favorite Place Presentation
All students finished tech2012 letters to Ms. Reid to explain what they would like to do in technology this year.  Students who finished during previous visit worked in Type To Learn, Paint and/or Word.
Students started favorite place presentation with internet safety and responsibility reminders from Ms. Reid.  Searching on Google Images for a place was discussed and keywords identified as specific enough or too specific. 

• Next time -- Each student will choose their favorite place and search for images.  Once an image is chosen the student will locate the full size version and the image's URL.  Students will search for image of favorite place pic, start/save favpla word doc, copy and paste image URL as well as image

Blackwood's Class -- Students watched name slide show complete with bows and applauded for each student's hard work. Students learned to use MS Word 2007.  Items demo'ed and disscussed:

1. Ribbons to access tools (home, insert, view, etc.)
2. Changing font:  style, type, size, color, high lighting
3. Selecting All
4. Cut, Copy and Paste
5. Aligning -- Left, Center and Right with examples of justified

Students wrote 4-5 sentences and explored with taught Word tools.
