Shannon's Class -- Finishing Tech2012 Letters for Ms. Reid and Starting Favorite Place Presentation
Some students finished tech2012 letters to Ms. Reid to explain what they would like to do in technology this year.  Students who finished during previous visit worked in paint and/or word.
Students started favorite place presentation with internet safety and responsibility reminders from Ms. Reid.  Searching on Google Images for a place was explored and keywords identified as specific enough or too specific.  Each student choose their favorite place and searched for images.  Once an image was chosen the student located the full size version and the image's URL.  A new word document was opened by each student. The image's URL was copied and pasted onto the word doc.  Word doc was saved as favpla sha + initials. 

• Next time -- Students test link in "favpla sha" doc and add image

• Next time -- Students search for image of favorite place pic, start/save favpla word doc, copy and paste image URL as well as image

Barefoot's Class -- Name Picture

Students watched Ms. Reid create a name picture using tools in MS Paint XP.  Students created pictures while using MS Paint XP at individual workstations.
