Hilgers' Class --  Review Photo Story (Day 1)

Students reviewed how to use Photo Story to create a digital story.  Students created a folder in their home directory.  Students looked through activities found in Raleigh and chose 4 of these activities to use in their Photo Story.  Students learned to create a brief description of the picture, copy and paste the pic's URL, test their pasted pic's URL and save the pic to their home directory.  Students learned to create a photo album with their saved pics in Power Point.  Students saved their PowerPoint photo album to their home directory.

• Next Time: Students will add additional pictures to their PowerPoint and save their PowerPoint as jpeg's.  Students will create a PhotoStory from PowerPoint jpeg's and their recorded voice overs

Faulhaber's Class --  Discovery Education and "Pond-er This" Virtual Lab (Day 1)
Watched and discussed Scientific Method video. Students learned to access and log into Discovery Education.  Students were placed in random pairs using an online name generator.  Demo'ed how to access a Discovery Education assignment and the "Pond-er This" virtual lab. 

• Next Time:  Finish "Pond-er This" lesson.  

Blackwood's Class -- Keyboard Practice
Students review how to sit in proper keyboarding position. Students practice keyboarding skills while using Typing Web, Dance Mat Typing and/or Nitro Typing
