Hilgers' Class --  Paws in the Hallway and in Technology, Logging into the school network

Students learned expectations for behavior while in Apex Elementary's hallways and in technology.
Paws in the Hallway
Practice Responsibility -- Walk quietly and keep hallways clean
Act Kind and Respectfully -- Hands off the walls, respect other’s work and yield
Work Hard -- Follow rules and be attentive
Stay Safe -- Single file and Walk to your right

Paws in Technology
Practice Responsibility -- Come into and exit the lab quickly and quietly, wait for instructions before logging into the computers
Act Kind and Respectfully -- Help others without doing it for them (Help by explaining, show with your workstation or point to what they need to do)
Work Hard -- Do your best
Stay Safe -- Stay on programs and websites that are appropriate, turn off your monitor right away if something is on your display makes you feel uncomfortable and get help from a trusted adult as soon as possible, keep all 4 legs of your chair on the floor (while leaning back you could lose your balance and fall -- hurting yourself, someone else or perhaps the equipment)

Students logged into the school network with their username and password and copied several shortcuts to their desktops.
  •  Next Time:  Who We Are Project -- While using Microsoft Paint students will create a picture that represents themselves.
